The RdmNode is a compact, 4-port eDMX converter from Visual Productions, designed to reliably convert Art-Net and sACN signals to DMX-512 and vice versa. The unit is ideal for both permanent architectural installations and advanced stage, event and museum systems.

With RDM (Remote Device Management) support, an intuitive web interface and DIN rail mounting capabilities, the RdmNode provides a solid foundation for modern lighting control systems.

Flexible protocol conversion

RdmNode allows bi-directional operation between the most popular control protocols:

• Art-Net ↔ DMX-512
• sACN ↔ DMX-512
• simultaneous operation of multiple universes
• freely configurable direction of operation for each port

Each of the four DMX ports can be independently assigned as an input or output, providing great flexibility in system design.

RDM support - full control of devices

With RDM support, the RdmNode allows remote:

• detection of DMX devices,
• parameter reading,
• configuration and diagnostics,
• monitoring the status of luminaires and fixtures.

This is a great convenience in fixed installations where physical access to the equipment is sometimes limited.
