CueCore3 is a powerful, compact architectural and system lighting controller designed by Visual Productions that combines dynamic show playback, static scenes and installation automation. The unit operates as a standalone controller, designed for continuous 24/7 operation, providing reliable performance for permanent, event and system installations.

Versatile lighting control - 4 universes and more

The CueCore3 offers 4 DMX-512 ports, each bi-directional and optically isolated for increased signal stability and noise immunity. These 4 DMX universes can be simultaneously accessed via the network protocols Art-Net, sACN and KiNet, providing a wide range of integration possibilities in modern lighting installations.

The controller can manage 2048 channels and its internal memory (6 GB) allows a large number of DMX recordings to be stored and extended sequences to be played back. The number of available playback sequences has been increased to 16 playbacks, which significantly increases flexibility and control over lighting effects.

Intelligent programming tools and web interface

The CueCore3 features a smart, high-speed web interface so that scene programming, effects and light shows can be performed directly via a web browser - without the need to install additional software. You can:

• program scenes and sequences,
• record DMX signals from external consoles,
• create loops and effects,
• schedule actions by time and date.

Full RDM functionality and system integration

CueCore3 supports full RDM (Remote Device Management) functionality - allowing remote device detection, address editing, parameter reading and real-time monitoring of device status on the installation.

The controller also supports numerous integration protocols beyond the standard DMX/Art-Net/sACN network protocols, including GPI, MIDI, TCP, UDP and OSC. It also supports SMPTE and MTC standards, making it ready for integration with media control and time synchronisation systems.

Automation and control of light sequences

CueCore3 offers an automation and scheduling system that allows you to define triggers for scenes to be shown based on input signals, time, day of the week or other conditions. It is the ideal solution where autonomous operation and precise control of lighting is required without continuous operator support.

Scalability and modular extensions

The controller can operate independently in smaller installations or be part of a larger controller network. The master/slave function allows multiple CueCore3 units to be synchronised in large systems, while the combination with RdmNode or SpiNode modules allows the system to be expanded to up to 32 control universes, which is particularly useful in extensive LED installations.

Companion tools and Purple Cloud

CueCore3 is supported by tools such as:

• vManager - a tool for device discovery on the network, backups and firmware updates,
• Purple Cloud - a cloud-based platform for remote monitoring and control of the controller and online project management.
