Congo Kid is self-contained, with 40 master faders and all the controls from the Congo jr built into a portable console. Running Congo’s potent operating software, Congo Kid is a fully independent main console or a convenient client or back-up desk for smaller shows.
Like Congo, Congo Kid maintains the simplicity of a classic control system with the feature-rich functionality of a dedicated moving lights console. Congo Kid gives you clean functions for everyday theater work with conventional lights, plus advanced control of scrollers, LEDs, and moving lights. Like the sophisticated but deadline-driven lighting shows it controls, Congo Kid is high energy -- with short commands for fast results. As with Congo, Congo Kid lets you move independent channels such as worklights, conductor lights, followspot and smoke machine control to a special section that isn't affected by the rest of the system. You then see the important information, at any time, on the screens or in the console displays. And you can control your rig remotely, with your own cordless phone for simple commands or with our dedicated RFR hardware or the iRFR iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad application for more complete remote control.
Congo Kid has 40 built-in master faders with master and flash keys on all 40 -- a great setup for busking small shows in multi-purpose venues. On-board MIDI connections and compatibility with ETC’s Net3™ I/O and Show Control Gateways mean Congo Kid can play nicely with others when needed for more complex shows.
