At the Prolight + Sound 2023 trade fair in Frankfurt, ROBE will present six new products, namely iFORTE FS, iESPRITE, iPAINTE, iTetra2, iBeam350, and FOOTSIE. The company is primarily focused on presenting its iSeries product line, which stands out for its high IP protection. Visitors to the fair will also have the opportunity to watch a spectacular live show, which will be presented at booth D10 in hall 12.1.
iFORTE FS
Now ROBE's most powerful iSeries luminaire, the IP65-rated iFORTE FS combines long-range performance with high performance - in a fully weatherproof package for all outdoor and demanding applications.The iFORTE FS is only 1.5 kg heavier than the internal FORTE and offers the same performance and design as the original luminaire, along with all the benefits of innovations such as the ROBE Protection System and integrated RAINS (ROBE Automatic Ingress Neutralization System) for humidity, temperature and pressure control.
The TE-iSE 1,000W HP (High Performance) white LED TRANSFERABLE ENGINE with iFORTE FS produces the same 50,000 lumens luminous flux with an identical 11:1 optical zoom system and a zoom range of 5.5° to 55° for maximum flexibility.
ROBE's patented MAPS (Motionless Absolute Positioning System) allows full calibration of the luminaire while it remains stationary - no cumbersome rotating or tilting movements before use, which is especially useful when the luminaire is placed in confined spaces.
iESPRITE
An IP65-certified version of one of ROBE's most popular products, iESPRITE provides consistent, trouble-free performance without complicated maintenance, regardless of weather or conditions.
The IP65-certified iESPRITE combines ROBE's latest protection technology with ESPRITE, while keeping aesthetics, performance and features identical and allowing seamless integration between the two different models.
The protection system is specifically designed to facilitate standard maintenance and preparation procedures - such as replacing the MOVING ENGINE and gobos - in the field and without additional tools.
To ensure consistently high light performance, water, dirt, dust, fog and smoke are repelled from the front lens by ROBE's hydrophobic, oleophobic ParCoat coating, allowing easy cleaning/removal without scratches or damage.
iPAINTE
The iPAINTE is a high-quality IP65-certified luminaire with a short/medium beam range that retains all the features and characteristics of the PAINTE indoor version.
ROBE protective technology means that this luminaire is also suitable for outdoor use, as it cannot be damaged by rain, dust, moisture, smoke or fog even in the harshest conditions.
The identical base design means that iPAINTE and PAINTE can be seamlessly integrated into the same lighting kit if desired. Even placed side by side, they look the same, which speaks to continuity and practicality.
The ingress protection system allows standard on-site maintenance without additional tools, while the patented RAINS (ROBE Automatic Ingress Neutralization System) takes care of humidity, temperature and pressure control. RAINS is an active monitoring system that automatically removes any moisture detected in the unit, providing continuous monitoring for peak performance.
iTetra2
The IP65-rated iTetra2 outdoor LED strip complements the ROBE iSeries. It retains the functionality of the indoor version, but adds the benefit of ROBE's self-managing Ingress Protection technology,which prevents damage from rain, dust, moisture, smoke or fog.
The outdoor iTetra has the same functionality and performance as the Tetra2, but has the added benefit of the patented RAINS (ROBE Automatic Ingress Neutralization System) on board, which controls humidity, temperature and pressure.
The iTetra2 automatically performs a self-test when it detects that the lid is being removed and put back on, and issues an error message if the seals or covers have not been replaced properly or the locking screws have not been tightened.
The lightweight aluminum alloy construction provides a dust-free environment for the optics, eliminating the need for frequent cleaning and routine maintenance and reducing UV damage to plastic parts.
iBeam 350
ROBE's LEDBeam 350 is now weatherproof with the iBeam 350.
The iBeam 350 has all the features and characteristics that have made the LEDBeam 350 so popular, including self-adjusting, low-maintenance protection technology.
The advanced RAINS (ROBE Automatic Ingress Neutralization System) controls humidity, temperature and pressure, while the luminaire's lightweight aluminum alloy provides a dust-free environment for the optics, eliminating the need for frequent cleaning and reducing the risk of UV damage to plastic parts.
FOOTSIE1 and FOOTSIE2
The IP65-certified FOOTSIE from ROBE aims to redefine the concept of the traditional "footlight" and remove visual barriers between audience and performers. The IP65-certified FOOTSIE provides dynamic lighting regardless of the weather.
This new product is now available in two standard lengths, FOOTSIE1 (600 mm) and FOOTSIE2 (1200 mm), with a choice of warm white or adjustable white LEDs or high-powered RGBW single-chip LEDs. The classic warm white LEDs offer a CRI rating of more than 90 - for face illumination, while the adjustable white covers a range from 2700K - 6500K.
The RGBW version allows for any color. The LEDs are evenly distributed, providing illumination for scenes, sets and catwalks.
FOOTSIE's low 52mm high design allows unobstructed visibility for the performer, keeping the stage and sight lines clean and clear. An integrated, self-contained cable holder can be used to stack loose cables.
The FOOTSIE1 has two individually controllable zones at 600 mm in length, while the 1200 mm FOOTSIE2 has four zones, providing flexibility for different applications.
The integrated cover, which obscures the direct line of sight between the LED sources and the spectator side and protects against unintentional glare, can be folded into the lamp housing or removed and installed on site.
The units can be quickly and easily connected using a quick-connect system. Corner pieces with different angles are also available, making the lamp ideal for framing scenes or other custom shapes.
The convection-cooled FOOTSIE is suitable for theaters, concert stages, catwalks at fashion shows and all kinds of events.
RoboSpot with full networking capabilities
With RDMNet implemented in ROBE products, existing remote device management capabilities reach the next level with this protocol that standardizes behavior and configuration in network structures.
Device detection, settings and operations, especially over long distances, can now be performed directly between the ROBE RoboSpot system and ROBE devices without the need for additional devices such as splitters. Setting DMX addresses, DMX modes or personal settings on ROBE devices is now consistent, whether wired, wireless or over a network.
By integrating RDMNet into its products, ROBE offers its customers the ability to remotely manage their fixtures. With the ability to see changes made by other controllers, RDMNet offers a high level of flexibility and control.
This year ROBE's architectural brand, ANOLIS, has its own booth - D23 - directly opposite ROBE's main booth, where the latest luminaires from the new Calumma series will be on display alongside Ambiane and Eminere products.
