The Functional and Utility Program initially envisioned equipping the Silesian Opera House with halogen headlights. However, during the development of the detailed design, everyone was persuaded to make changes that improved user comfort, reduced operating costs and increased capabilities. All moving heads, profile and PC spotlights, floodlights and strobes have been realized with LED technology.
The stage of the Silesian Opera House was equipped with Robe T1 moving heads. These are both profile and Wash moving heads with an LED with five component colors. Another element is ClayPaky K-EYE K10 moving heads, also equipped with multicolor light sources. Robe T11 Profile, ADB Lexpert Profile, Robe iParfect 150 and small Xeos Stager 150 profile spotlights were used as static spotlights.
Powering all the devices are two state-of-the-art PXM914 power cabinets from PXM, developed in cooperation with ElwoLight. These are cabinets with interchangeable modules of different wattages and characteristics, which can work as a source for both regulated and unregulated circuits. This means that both modern devices with LED light sources can be connected to any power circuit in any location and controlled by DMX signals, as well as spotlights with halogen light sources and dimmed by a simple dimmer.

The control installation was done in a hybrid way, meaning that specific connections on stage and in the audience were equipped with both XLR jacks for DMX signals and RJ45 jacks for network signals.

A GrandMa 3 light console was used to control the lighting system, which can be connected anywhere on the stage and audience. The console controls all effect lighting equipment and the audience lighting system. In addition, the audience lighting and stage working lights can be activated via touch panels on stage and in the director's area. The system was built on equipment from Visual Production.

Currently, the Silesian Opera has top-quality stage lighting equipment that can be used in many different scenarios.
