This first edition of Beyond the Footlights showcases some of the latest opera, theater and art spaces and projects from around Europe and the world that use Robe lighting fixtures.
As a brand, Robe remains dedicated to creating and refining a series of products, such as the T-Series, that are specifically designed and developed to meet the high demands and precision of this demanding lighting genre.
From impressive and historic grand opera houses to cool, intimate, vibrant, eccentric theater spaces that push the boundaries of imagination! it goes to show that there are Robe products for every performance space!
Robe's unique TE (TRANSFERABLE ENGINE) technology is used in many of them, offering more sustainable and energy-efficient light sources with longer life and innate reliability. These are also highly flexible options, and we are constantly expanding the range of creative tools available to lighting and visualization designers.
These projects are also a testament to the imagination and talent of lighting practitioners, who continue to use our products in new and different ways in these areas. Very often they transfer techniques and sometimes technologies from other genres to new situations, creating new ideas.
As a brand, we will continue to listen carefully to user feedback on critical features such as color reproduction, color mixing, intensity, white light quality, and smoothness and accuracy of dimming and movement - there is a learning process that will influence our future products.
Beyond The Footlights is a small snapshot of the current reference list, which we hope is informative and will inspire others to look at Robe's quality and comprehensive lighting solutions.
